Please remember to support ShareWare. Cam-Mail is an excellent QWK/REP
program. It comes complete with everything you need to have users
download QWK files and upload REP files. Includes internal protocols.
It will also echo mail between Bulletin Boards. If you were to buy a
QWK/REP Door and the Echo Mail Software from another company it would
run you around $75.00. Cam-Mail is only $25.00. We are trying to make
ShareWare what it's suppose to be. QUALITY programs at a LOW price.
See the registration docs on how to dial our 800 number or call our
Technical Support Line at 801-489-4878.
Cam-Mail is a superb piece of software for PCBoard 14.5.

on your computer system and verify the integrity of the
distribution disk(s). You may press the [Esc] key at any time to
abort the installation.
INSTALL will ask you several questions about which drive to install
the program on and which directory.
Each question has a default answer. If the default answer is
correct, press the ENTER key in response to the question.
Otherwise, type the answer and then press the ENTER key.
If you make a mistake while typing, press the BACKSPACE key
and then retype the answer.

Now you need to specify the disk destination subdirectory. The
subdirectory is the location on your disk where the
@Name system will be installed.
I *HIGHLY* suggest that you use the Directory of "\CAM-MAIL". This will
ensure that you won't have any problems with installing the software.
We've tried our best to make sure that the INSTALL program works. Please
use the directory of "\CAM-MAIL".

We are now going to run the CMSETUP.EXE. First you will want to go into
E) Misc Paths and make sure the "Path to your PCBOARD.DAT" is correct.
Please note that if you are running a Multi-Node system, you need NOT
worry about how Cam-Mail handles multi-node operation. Cam-Mail is smart
enough to figure out which PCBOARD.DAT to use for each node, what Comport,
etc...
Be sure you SAVE your settings when exiting CMSETUP.EXE. The other
areas of the CMSETUP.EXE can be explored by you, but we suggest that you
refer to the documentation on how to setup NewFiles/Bulletin Scanning.
A QUICK note on how to setup the NewFiles/Bulletin Scanning is to simply
select the appropriate Conference and then the appropriate DIR or BLT file.

One last note (VERY IMPORTANT):
Make sure that your DSZLOG environment is set. When you are
at the DOS prompt, type: "SET" You will then see a listing
of all your environment variables. If you don't see a DSZLOG
setting, then you need to either increase your environment
size, or you simply don't have a SET DSZLOG=xxxx in your
BOARD.BAT. If you need help with this, please call our technical
number for support.
When running the mail door and one of your REMOTE users gets
"Cannot open (DSZLOG)", then you know it's not set <g>.
Installation of @Name is now finished.
